What’s been happening:

After getting my Master's degree in Spanish from Penn State, I graduated from the Ph.D. program in Spanish at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am currently an Assistant Professor of Spanish at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia, where I teach all levels of Spanish language and Latin American literature and culture. I live in Yorktown, Virginia, with my husband Tom and son Aiden.
